What's in a name? Tamdhu Scotch Whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Tamdhu Scotch Whiskey, rather than whisky.
The nose is quite light with barley sweetness. Juicy cereal notes and grist, acacia honey and a hint of smoke. There are some notes of pastry and malty grains. The palate is very smooth and of medium-body. There are notes of sponge with crème anglaise poured over. Notes of aniseed and zest, marmalade and a little vanilla. The finish is of medium-length with caramel notes.
