Produced in one of our favourite parts of France, Gascony, Armagnac is singly distilled, as opposed to the double distillation applied to Cognac, and it is a richer, more intense, "manlier" (if you'll excuse the word!) libation. Well suited anywhere, from with a cigar or coffee after to a meal, to use in gastronomy (try using a little with some prunes in a sauce for chicken or game), Armagnac is one of the world's finest brandies.
