Tamdhu 26 Adelphi Bottling Note

Cask strength 26 year old Tamdhu, this was a single cask (2836) which bore 269 bottles. Bottled by Adelphi in 2011, this is a beautifully rich whisky, with a great deal of complexity.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Waxy with notes of cherry, marmalade, apple peel and thick malt. Some stewed fruit.

Palate: Rich nose, with notes of beeswax, chocolate, honey and Bramley apples. Hints of pastry too.

Finish: Rich and waxy with notes of cocoa and molasses on the tail.
