Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? North British 45 Year Old 1963 (Signatory) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled North British 45 Year Old 1963 (Signatory) whiskey, rather than whisky.

North British 1963 Tasting Note

Nose: Chemically, but interestingly so, with some custard sweetness lying atop acetone. A little grassiness, quite creamy.

Palate: Quite big, grassy, metallic, some cherries, flapjacks, something almost smoky about it too.

Finish: Aniseed, spicy, grassy, grainy.
