A five-year-old Islay bottled by Signatory. It's from a secret distillery, even we don't know which one, but it's a well-peated, satisfying dram, and we have a few ideas about where it comes from...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Tar, roadworks and buttery grass. Caramel and honey provide the sweet touch.

Palate: Sweet then peat! Sugared lemon peel followed by woodsmoke, leather and tyres.

Finish: Smokey sweetness lingers.

Overall: A great Islay, wherever it's from.
