Insider knowledge: Tullibardine 18 Year Old 1991 - Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing) whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Tullibardine 18 Year Old 1991 - Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing) whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Fruity and fresh, barley malt, cinnamon, hints of nutmeg and toasty oak.
Palate: Juicy barley, floral notes, orange zest, hints of caramel.
Finish: Very spicy finish - cinnamon and cloves.
Bought this when visiting the distillery. Absolutely beautiful light whisky.
