Teaninich 27 Year Old 1982 - Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing)
A release of just 239 bottles of 27 year old, single cask Teaninich! This was distilled in December 1982, and aged in a refill hogshead before bottling for Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range in August 2010. Lovely stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
A spiced nose with notes of applewood, burnt sugar, stewed fruits and cherries.
Palate
Thick and sweet palate with After Eight mints, chamomile, maple syrup, menthol, black pepper and cinnamon.
Finish
Long and spiced - vanilla fudge, butterscotch and a dusting of cocoa on the tail.
