Ledaig 17 Year Old 1993 (Signatory)
A 17 year old Ledaig (peated malt from Tobermory). This was distilled on the 31st March 1993 and matured for 17 years in two hogsheads (casks 418 and 419) before bottling on the 27th May 2010. A release of 807 bottles, bottled by Signatory.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery, oaty, quite clean with hints of oily spice and smoke.
Palate
Good body, spicy and peaty, cloves, cinnamon, toasty bread, pepper and fruit.
Finish
Wood ash, honey and spice.
