Nose: Spicy, with dried fruits, sweet peel, creamy porridge oats and berry fruit (particularly greengages).
Palate: Oaky, with lots of dried fruit - sultanas in particular, but plums too. There are hints of spice, pronounced malt, with aniseed and pepper.
Finish: Spicy and of good length with oak and vanilla cream.
Overall: A spicy old Glentauchers, very good.
