Glengoyne 1998 Bottling Note

This twelve year old Glengoyne was bottled by Douglas Laing for the 20cl range of their Old Malt Cask brand. These are known as the 'Advance Samples' and are designed to replicate the sample bottles the Laing brothers are sent to try when selecting the casks they may later bottle.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Creamy vanilla followed by coriander and thyme notes.

Palate: Lots of barley sugar flavours with that herbaceousness from the nose kicking in again.

Finish: Mint, syrup pudding and thyme in a long finish.

Overall: A herbal Glengoyne rocking an ex-Bourbon cask, great dram.
