Glenglassaugh closed for a long time, thankfully they have reopened. Interestingly they are releasing whisky that has been sat in oak casks whilst the distillery was closed. This whisky has made its way into this bottle here, and is a delicious old whisky with a rich history.
The nose is floral with hints of peat smoke which become more apparent on the citrus focussed palate. The palate has notes of marmalade and demerara sugar which leads to a coffee-like finish.
