A 26 year old Glenglassaugh, this was launched in early 2010, as part of a range of well-aged whiskies from the distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Custard and Christmas spices. Notes of buttery biscuits, berry fruits and hints of roasted nuts.
Palate
Very fruity with all kinds of conserves, as well as pecan Danish pastry, baked Alaska, porridge oats, sultanas and raspberries.
Finish
Berry fruits and orange marmalade on the finish, with hints of black pepper and digestive biscuit.
