Nose: Marzipan and hessian sacks, molasses, a touch of linseed, pine resin and malt.
Palate: Oily and rich, notes of chocolate malt, salted caramels, this is quite a coastal whisky in fact. A little wood ash and cinnamon.
Finish: Cough syrup and pear drops. Barley malt and toasted oak.
