This is a single cask Highland whisky from the Glen Ord distillery. It was distilled on the 30th April 1997 before a 14 year maturation in a single hogshead (number 800087). It was then bottled for Signatory's Cask Strength Collection on the 29th February 2012. There are just 324 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dried apricot and vanilla. Spiced with notes of cooked pear, banana and a little beeswax. Allspice.

Palate: Peppery, oaky palate with dried berry fruit and barley sugar. Big on vanilla with notes of apricot and honey.

Finish: Coffee and star anise.
