Glen Grant 12 Year Old 1998 - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
This was distilled at the Glen Grant distillery in the Autumn of 1998. It was then aged for 12 years in a single refill hogshead before bottling in Summer 2011. It was selected for Douglas Laing's very fine Provenance range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery, gooey toffee greets the nostrils, alongside sweet barley grist and apple blossom.
Palate
Sweet and creamy, with citrus, mixed spices, stem ginger, cocoa and grist.
Finish
Long, toffee-led finish with hints of pipe tobacco on the tail.
