Actually better than the 24 year old version from the same cask strenght series.

Nose: Fresh apples and pears; quite "young" for a 23 year old Malt! Sweet and floral. A hint of peat-smoke. Palat: Pears in sirup; light peat-smoke; grass notes and a dry finish. Quite refreshing for such an old Scotch. The cask strenght at "only" 49 % abv requires no water at all.
