Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
All the STFCs seem to have this wonderful jammy quality, as if a number of forest fruits had been boiled down into a thick, rich conserve. In this case the fruit is wild strawberries, and the result is delicious.
Palate
The fruit/jam notes are big and intense, and have a buttery/toasty character that reminds us of a hearty breakfast. Not saying we’d advise this as an alternative to the most important meal of the day ;-) but it certainly has a great deal of charm.
Finish
A long, effortless finish with plums, strawberries, apple Danish and honey.
