What's in a name? Edradour 24 Year Old 1985 Pedro Ximénez whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Edradour 24 Year Old 1985 Pedro Ximénez whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Dark chocolate, pecan tart, sourdough, vanilla, cloves and ground nutmeg. Palate: Fruity, sweet and creamy with notes of marmalade, pecans, almond maple syrup and custard. Finish: Dry, calves leather cedar wood.

Balsamic vinegar at its worst would be sweet compared to this pure grain run off via the local skinworks. I'm sure there is a market somewhere on the Clyde!.................................wi Lemonade

We LOVE this whisky! We had our first sample 4 years ago, brought home a bottle, and have ordered it on-line. You can't imagine our disappointment that this smooth treat is sold out. Will there be another 24-year old available in 2012? We sure hope so!
