Edradour Burgundy 57.1% Bottling Note
This was distilled at Edradour on the 30th June 2000 and it was aged in hogsheads until the 22nd November 2008, at which time it was transferred into a Burgundy hogshead and finished before bottling on the 18th July 2011. A release of 439 bottles.
Nose: Menthol, herbal notes, sweet spices, Port wine and honey.
Palate: Unusual and quite herbal with aromatic notes of Aussie shiraz (peppery with dark fruits), jammy and malt-laden.
Finish: Good length, hints of cinnamon and apple.
