A 13 year old Clynelish distilled on the 27th May 1998 and aged in two hogsheads before bottling by Signatory on the 8th December 2011. A release of 824 numbered bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Beeswax and manuka honey. Incense sticks, pine resin and orange blossom. A gentle tinge of salty smoke, linseed oil and oysters.
Palate
Vanilla and toffee, ginger in syrup, stewed rhubarb. More of those coastal notes, a hint of iodine. Pancakes with Nutella.
Finish
Wine-like and spiced.
