Chichibu The First
The incredibly collectible first release from Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2011. The brand has grown quite the name for itself since these early days.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vibrant sandalwood, with butter and vanilla sweetness.
Palate
A chewy, viscous mouth feel with the sweetness taking on a nutty tone. Quite a kick, this is one to add a drop of water to.
Finish
The long finish revels more oaky vanilla notes.
Overall
A great deal of clarity here; it's obviously a young whisky but it's very drinkable indeed.
