Jim Murray's Whisky Bible
What's in a name? Cambus 25 Year Old 1987 - The Clan Denny (Douglas Laing) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Cambus 25 Year Old 1987 - The Clan Denny (Douglas Laing) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Sweet aromas of custard apple, allspice and a little porridge.
Palate: Creamy, sweet palate entry with notes of toffee, vanilla, cooked apple and spice.
Finish: Juicy finish. Soft spices. Very long actually...
