Nose: Grassy and very grainy. This actually has quite a bit of fruit, orchard fruit mainly, herbal, some coffee too, caramel perhaps.
Palate: Medium, herbal, hints of anise, pears, apple peel, pastries and oat cakes. Spices, maybe some soot.
Finish: Slightly smoky on the finish, with oodles of barley, a touch of apple juice.
