Interesting fact… Benchmark Bourbon Old Number 8 whiskey spells its name whiskey as it originates in America. Had it been produced in Scotland its name would be Benchmark Bourbon Old Number 8 whisky, instead of whiskey.
Nice nose. Corn on the palate with slight maple flavour. Nice dry rye finish . Can't be beat for the price.

I had a 3 year long process, where I was going to pick the King of the low-mid priced Bourbons (less than Beam was my rule) and this was the winner. I think I paid $17 for a 1.75, although I have to go out of my small town to get it, worth the drive.
