Nose: Lots of apples here, particularly tarte tatin, morphing into a slightly tart crab apple note.
Palate: Estery flavours abound. We have more apples, fresh this time, with banana and almond, balanced by an enveloping syrup sweetness.
Finish: Fairly short with a balanced bitter edge.
Overall: A crisp, after dinner whisky capable of livening up a tired palate.
