Ardmore 9 Year Old 2003 (cask 9341) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
This was distilled at the Ardmore distillery in Autumn 2003. It was then aged for 9 years in a single cask (a refill barrel) before bottling for the Provenance range in Winter 2013.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of soft peat smoke and honey. A little juicy barley and spice.
Palate
Honeyed, creamy palate entry with a hint of tar. Molasses notes develop, with dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, chocolatey finish. Juicy sultanas.
