Ardmore 8 Year Old 2003 - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
A delicious single cask Ardmore, distilled in Autumn 2003 and aged for 8 years in a bourbon barrel before bottling in Winter of 2011 for Douglas Laing's Provenance range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
A mix of fresh flowers and a curiously Islay-like smoke. Notes of barley sugar, heather roots and manuka honey.
Palate
Sweet and creamy with a light, fruity smoky, oily toffee, cut grass and porridge oats.
Finish
Long and spiced, gentle peat smoke on the tail.
