Gin Martini 2013 Bottling Note

This is the 2013 vintage of The Handmade Cocktail Company's astounding dry Gin Martini Cocktail. It's made with the very best copper pot-still gin, with just a tiny hint of the finest dry vermouth. Mixing the vermouth in with the spirit before bottling has the added effect of maintaining freshness, resulting in a more fragrant, vibrant cocktail.

The concept of the ‘Vintage Cocktail’ range is simple – you get all the ingredients for a superb cocktail pre-mixed, all you have to do is pour it over ice, stir, then strain off into your glass and garnish (in this instance with a few olives or a twist of Lemon Peel). Each bottle carries a stamp showing its year of manufacture.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Herbal, rich aromas. A touch of tarragon/anise, lemon zest, rich juniper and a hint of pine needle.

Palate: Dry, earthy palate entry. Very fresh and crisp. A touch of citrusy sweetness developing.

Finish: Exotic spices on the tail. Dried herbs.
