Nose: Sweet and ripe. Very fruity and rich with notes of prunes, dates, espresso beans, ginger, sherry, spices. Palate: Mouth puckering balance with cocoa, prunes, plums, sweet sherry. Chocolate. Finish: Long and balanced. Cocoa, toffee, aniseed, plums and dates. Overall: Astounding, an incredibly complex whisky.
