What's in a name? Tomintoul 33 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Tomintoul 33 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Whenever my daughter travels to Scotland she brings me samples of various scotches. She recently brought me a sample of the 33 year old Tomintoul and it was the smoothest scotch that I've had the pleasure of tasting.
