What's in a name? Tomintoul 1976 whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Tomintoul 1976 whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Fruity, molasses, spices, dried peels, rich, malty, biscuity.
Palate: Thick, voluptuous, silky delivery with rich fruit, spices, dates, figs, malt, hints of oak.
Finish: Long, supple and well balanced with tinges of oak spice.
