This is a rich, cask-strength whisky from Willowbank - a now-silent distillery on New Zealand's South Island. This was distilled in 1989 before a 22 year maturation in a single cask (number 58).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich spices and digestive biscuits. Hints of banana loaf.
Palate
Allspice and toffee apples. Thick malt. Becomes very spicy and oaky.
Finish
Long, spiced finish. Gingernut biscuits on the tail.
