Nose

Classic spiced dried fruits and creamy vanilla with orange peel, crystallised ginger and apple wood.

Palate

Rum and raisin, dates, caramel and cloves alongside custard and citrus hints. Rich and satisfying.

Finish

Spices and dried fruits from the palate remain alongside warming ginger and refined oakiness.

Best 18 year

Macallan 18 year from the 90's. Is best single malt 18 years whiskey I ever drink. It is smooth n Love after taste so rich in favor.

Good dram, but overpriced

The nose is sweet and complex. It tastes kinda spicy. I could clearly taste the Sherry. I would rate it 7/10 if it wasn't for the price. Macallan's marketing departement does a good job.

Could be the best offering from the 90's

I have to give Macallan credit. This 1995 bottling could be the best I've had from the 90's. Fantastic stuff.

excellent

This one is excellent and well worth the price. It is much better than the 1996 18 year old. This 18year old clearly shows the difference between the NAS Ruby and an aged sherry whisky.
