Strathmill 16YO 1993 Bottling Note

This was distilled at the Strathmill distillery in January 1993. It was aged for 16 years in a refill hogshead and bottled in May of 2009. A release of 308 bottles from the Old Malt Cask range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Creamy and sweet. Notes of aniseed, cut hay and black pepper, a little toffee apple and malt.

Palate: Fruity and rich, vanilla, nutmeg, a little cinnamon and grist.

Finish: Spiced and warming, barley and dry oak.
