Springbank Claret Bottling Note

A special Springbank, distilled in May of 1997, and aged for 9 years in a refill bourbon barrel before a 3 year finish in fresh claret casks. This was bottled in February 2010, part of an outturn of 9360 bottles of cask strength whisky.

Grab a bottle

Lovely whisky, but add a splash of water. At this price is hard to beat.

Best with water

As someone who doesn't love scotch whiskies, I have to say this is good - with a splash of water, as previously noted, it's very drinkable.
