“Off the nose, I get the allspice and the honey, can't detect the fruit. On the palate, the lemon and the honey reveal themselves early, followed by chewy cereal, oak. Ending with mild spices. The dram finishes easily, smoothly. This is fantastic stuff. I got the sample, but I'm sure to purchase a bottle.”

Seven Islands is a very interesting whisky which was made by BenRiach although the brand is owned by Indian company Tilaknagar. A fusion of Indian design and Scottish spirit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Florentines become acacia honey and allspice. Stone fruit too, with gingerbread and golden syrup.

Palate

Lemon zest and honey. Spongecake, golden syrup and spicy oak.

Finish

Toasted, spiced finish.

Overall

Quite a sweet but undoubtedly luxurious single malt.
