The nose is sweet and rich with notes of vanilla, caramel, there are notes of fruit and barley, a little sherry and peat, a touch of oak and smoke. The palate is thick with notes of sherry and wood smoke, a little cold fireplace character, a little winter spice and a touch of iodine with graceful sweetness. The finish is long and thick with a little smoke and sultanas with sherry.
