Rosebank 15 Year Old 1991 - Cask Strength (Gordon & MacPhail)
The vatting of four bourbon barrels of Rosebank. This was distilled in 1991 and bottled at 15 years - possibly the peak age for Rosebank - by Gordon and MacPhail.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Very fruity, cooked fruits, stone fruits, butterscotch. Unmistakably Rosebank on the nose. Dry floral notes, orange zest.
Palate
Good sweetness with notes of fruit and particularly zest, aniseed, dry toffee, duller than expected though.
Finish
Medium length finish, oak develops, less fruit.
