Insider knowledge: Old Pulteney 30 Year Old whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Old Pulteney 30 Year Old whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Fruit liqueurs, freshness, cream, Refreshers sweets and a rum-like sweetness.
Palate: Cold Apple Pie, oak, foam banana sweets and honey.
Finish: Woody sweetness, oat cakes.
To celebrate my 70th birthday in February,I decided to purchase a very special scotch.I researched many of the available scotch's and picked this one.I have no idea how this will taste but I'm expecting a beautiful experience.I just can't wait.( I'll be back in February to let you know of my experience )
Well I finally had my 30 year old Pulteney and It was one of the best experience's I've had. Both my son and I drank this wonderful scotch on my birthday and had the best experience ever. I may purchase a second bottle to drink next month.I would truly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a beautiful drink.
