North Port (Brechin) 25 Bottling Note

A very rare single malt whisky from Cadenhead's Authentic Collection, this was distilled at the North Port distillery in 1977 and it was aged for 25 years in a bourbon hogshead before bottling at natural cask strength in 2002.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Some wax and fresh fruits, grapefruit and melon.

Palate: The flavours get jammier on the palate, with nutmeg and pepper and toffee sweetness.

Finish: Not hugely long, fading away on a dry note.

Overall: A very nice 12-year-old malt with a good balance between sweet and dry notes.
