What's in a name? Noh Karuizawa 1976 Cask 6719 whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Japan. Were it from America it would be spelled Noh Karuizawa 1976 Cask 6719 whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Full on sherry. Orchard fruits, apple juice in fact. Ginger, figs, dates.
Palate: Slightly medicinal. Sherbet like. Liquorice.
Finish: Comes off all singing and dancing with zinging top notes. Long, very long.
Overall: Absolutely incredible.
