Single cask, cask-strength whisky finished in a small Octave cask and bottled by stalwart whiskym'n Duncan Taylor. This was distilled at Mortlach in 2002 and aged for 9 years before bottling.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy vanilla, apple peels, parma violets, stewed pear, coffee beans, rhubarb crumble.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied. Floral notes - especially orange blossom, pepper, toffee, malt and spice.
Finish
Sweet spices, lavender.
