Miltonduff 28 1982 Rare Auld Bottling Note

This was distilled at the Miltonduff distillery in November 1982 and it was aged in cask 6144 for 28 years before bottling at natural cask strength in August 2011 by Duncan Taylor. Just 174 numbered bottles of this stuff…

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla and apricot on the nose, alongside malt and melted butter. Elegant and creamy.

Palate: Very spicy palate with notes of black pepper and cigar leaves, a touch of Ovaltine maltiness, custard and uncooked dough. Beeswax develops.

Finish: Long and spiced with notes of pipe tobacco and ginger.
