The nose is full and complex. There is a refined sweetness with notes of cut hay and wood oil, a green note with sultanas and dried peels and a little smoke and buttery, gooey toffee. The palate is rich and full. There are notes of sultanas and dry winter spice, there is a hint of mocchaccino and an earthern root note with a cigar box sweetness.
