The nose is quite rich and full. There are notes of chewy sultana and strong vinosity. There is a touch of smoke and a gentle peat with notes of iodine and a touch of tar, a thick fruity character with notes of winter spice and toasty oak. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced. There are notes of wood smoke and toffee, a touch of spice and sultanas, a little sherry with Christmas pudding and a hint of peat.
