A very well-aged malt from Gordon and MacPhail. This 30 year old was matured in Gordon and MacPhail's Elgin warehouses and comes packaged in an attractive decanter, complete with a scroll.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is quite rich and full. There are notes of chewy sultana and strong vinosity. There is a touch of smoke and a gentle peat with notes of iodine and a touch of tar, a thick fruity character with notes of winter spice and toasty oak. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced. There are notes of wood smoke and toffee, a touch of spice and sultanas, a little sherry with Christmas pudding and a hint of peat. The finish is quite full and big with notes of winter spice and cut herbs.
