The nose is quite well-oaked with dry smoke notes, a touch of kelp and sherried peels, some sultanas and a cut herb note with a rooty note. The palate is of medium-body and quite sweet. There is a barley note with a good smoked note with a maritime quality. The finish is of good length with a little smoke and spice.
