Mackmyra Double Dip Bottling Note

This is the fourth special release from the Swedish distillery Mackmyra. It is made by ageing the whisky in large bourbon casks before moving them into tiny handmade 30 litre casks. The result is spicy and sweet.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A fresh nose with hints of pear drop and orange blossom. It develops with notes of malt and creamy custard.

Palate: Toffee and gingerbread to the fore, with hints of lime zest, dried grass and apple peel.

Finish: Spiced finish with dry oak and stem ginger.
