A great Macduff bottled by Duncan Taylor. It's a very neatly constructed whisky with a hint of smoke.

Nose

Smoke floating over wet grass with sweet grains and toffee.

Palate

Molasses and dried fruit sweetness, integrated with orange and soft smoke with a touch of fresh root ginger.

Finish

Lingering barbecue sauce sweetness, some bitters and more ginger.

Overall

A well put-together dram that leaves you wanting another sip.
