A delicious single cask Macallan, distilled in 1990 and aged for 21 years in a refill hogshead before bottling in August of 2011 for Douglas Laing's Director's Cut range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich, thick honey, vanilla fudge and toffee apples. Dried peels, peppermint and light oak.

Palate: Soft and juicy, with oodles of barley malt, menthol, charred oak, candy canes and nectarine.

Finish: Honey on hot-buttered toast. Peppery and spicy on the tail.
